We're investing in the design‑led revolution

Mission

The Autodesk Foundation invests in the most impactful people and organizations using the power of design to create a better world.

About

The Autodesk Foundation is the first foundation to focus investment exclusively on the people and organizations using design for impact. We call them "impact designers"—they are the catalysts of the design-led revolution now underway.

Our approach

We do not accept unsolicited proposals. We seek out designers who are driven to create positive impact in the world, and rely on an extensive network to help us find the people and organizations who best meet our criteria.

Nonprofits in need of professional design software can apply for a software donation through the Technology Impact program offered through Autodesk, Inc.

What we look for

We seek a diverse portfolio of people, organizations, university programs, and projects from around the world that represent:

  • Innovative design
  • A shared commitment to measuring impact
  • Scalable models
  • Collaboration with diverse stakeholders
  • Visionary and talented leaders
